Hearing?

My babe passed his newborn hearing test just fine but lately I’ve been wondering if he’s not hearing well or if he’s good at ignoring because he almost never turns when I say something to him or even clap if I’m behind him. But sometimes he seems like he does if he’s looking directly at me. Is this something worth getting checked or wait and see? He’s 7 months today.

It’s always worth asking the pediatrician if you have a concern, if nothing else just to ease your mind. Mine has been doing virtual visits, can you try that?
Does he turn if you turn on the tv behind him? Or if the microwave beeps in the other room? I’d say try sounds besides just your voice

Yea don’t wait. My son was born with mild hearing loss, caught at newborn screening. But everything says intervention earlier the better. So if there is something wrong catch it as soon as possible.

Don't wait. Get him checked. Call your pediatrician today. 
Might be nothing but him being distracted. But if it is something it is better to know sooner

I'm having the same concerns but I think he may just be choosing to ignore me because he will turn when he hesrs the TV or certain sounds. He just picks and chooses when he wants to respond to his name
