Taking matters into my own hands
So my doctor prescribed me Letrozole/Femara 2.5 mg days 5-9 about 4 months ago and she's wanting me to do that for 6 months (unless I get pregnant obviously). I love my doctor but she seems to be blowing me off. I had regular cycles before I started taking this (28-30 days) and last month I basically had 3 periods (bled 5 days 1-5, bled days 12-17, then started bleeding when my period was actually due for 3 days) then this month my period was 9 days early making it a 20 day cycle.
She hasn't done any testing on me at all to see if I even ovulate/drop eggs. She's only tested my blood to check my thyroid 🥴 (which was fine)
My question is, I've read up on the medicine and what taking it certain days does and I'm considering changing my days from 5-9 to days 3-7 because it's a middle ground of the days they are prescribed usually.
Has anyone else took matters into their own hands with this?
Will these cause any issues? I know it raises the possibility of twins but I'd honestly be overjoyed with twins lol.
Sorry this is so long, I just dont have anyone to talk to about this and my doctor doesn't seem to care about my concerns lol.
