Who are you going with for prenatal care and birth

Question

Im just up in the air about what I want to do. I have seen an ob before for my last two pregnancies that ended in MC. I’m not saying that’s why I don’t want to go to an obgyn though. 
I always wanted to do a midwife home birth or birthing center but I don’t know the steps? If you have done it before or know more about it please let me know! 
Especially for prenatal care and what not. I

For my first pregnancy I had a midwife and overall it was just a sloppy situation. I felt mistreated multiple times and the midwife couldn’t stop my bleeding two hours after I had give birth, but as soon as she had called the doctor in for help she stopped the bleeding. That’s was my experience with midwives, but do what YOU feel would be best for yourself. I’ve also had a miscarriage with twins so I know the uneasy feeling. Whatever make you the most comfortable is what you should go with.❤️

I think delivering at home is dangerous. There are so many things that can go wrong during, and days after birth. It’s obviously a personal choice to deliver where you want but I highly suggest researching labor and postpartum complications as well as newborn. You can have a perfect pregnancy, labor, and delivery and have a baby that needs emergency care. I would rather be in a hospital that can care for all complications and not risk my health or babies. -PP nurse

I had a midwife with my first, planned homebirth but ended up transferring to hospital due to fetal tachycardia. I was treated really badly in the hospital and would never choose a hospital birth if all is well. Homebirths are as safe as hospital births with a qualified professional and access to emergency services. I am a nurse on L&D and I have zero desire to experience what we do to women ever again. I was completely traumatized. Unfortunately, I’m risked out of a homebirth this time, so I am trying to work through all of the emotions.
My prenatal and postpartum care was excellent with my midwife. I do think it’s superior to what physicians offer, at least here.
