My step son in th beginning didn't like me. Or anyone really. He had a very big mouth on him, but I'm sure I wasn't the best either. I definitely made mistakes that contributed to him not liking me. Hes been getting more okay with me and my kids lately and today he talked to me. It was his normal attitude talking. He had a genuine conversation with me about school and hockey. It felt nice to talk to him. Idk how to explain it, but that feeling when you feel like you're finally being accepted by a child is amazing! I get this is a silly post, but I just felt good. Today. Itbwas nice to talk to him.
