So my 4 year old daughter refuses to go to bed without some form of whining or crying.

No matter what reasoning, bribery, etc. All she comes back to is that she wants her daddy and nanny. At my house she has a bed time in her own bedroom, and has been sleeping in her own room for over 2 years now with no problem till a couple months ago. She has 3 plug in night lights a glitter/lava lamp, any thing she could want to sleep with. She has a tv but thats for weekends only cause she doesnt fall asleep to it she stays up and plays when its over, and then falls asleep at like 3 am. But at her dads house she doesnt have a room and her dad wont make her sleep in her own bed(and she has one) he lets her sleep with him every nigh, with the tv on, at any hour she decides to fall asleep, because he works 2nd shift. But when i asked him to try and start getting her to go back to sleeping in her own bed all he has to say is "Shes only 4, shes a baby. How could you force her to sleep alone in the dark, its not like shes 12".... Am I being to harsh? Like is it that bad? She had no problem with it before up until this past summer?
