Easiest birth with my 3rd baby girl!
I have three little girls.. ages 4,3 and now 6 weeks old. I’ve always had pretty easy labors. My first was 8 hours and 6 minutes of pushing, my second was 6 1/2 hours and 4 minutes of pushing.. with both I had the epidural. But my midwife told me this time if I feel any sort of contractions to go to the hospital because my water may not break this time. My due date was 12/14 and she came on that day 🤣 I was only 1 1/2 cm dilated at my 39 week appointment. My SO left for work at 6 am and I felt a little crampy but very mild, I went back to sleep and woke up at 12:00 to my MIL coming in because he was concerned I was in pain before he left. I told her she can leave and I’m alright (with covid I didn’t want to go unless I really had to) I was playing with my two other girls, making them food, etc. when my SO got off at 4 I was crawling on the floor cleaning up toys I didn’t realize how bad they got and so close together so quick! We rushed to the hospital at 5, she checked me and I was already 8 cm 😭 they rushed me in and admitted me right away and stabbed me with the IVS 6-7 times. I was crying for the epidural but they knew there was no time (i didn’t though). My water broke at 615 pm and my SO called in the nurse, she said she wanted to check me and I told her I didn’t want to know how far I was and to go get the anesthesiologist. She said she would be right back, but she didn’t come in with him but the midwife 😭 she said it’s time and we can’t wait. At 6:30 pm,
One and half pushes later and my beautiful 7 pound 6 ounce, Delaney made her entrance! No swelling or tearing 🤣 her head was out the first push and I ripped my legs out of everyone’s arms, straightened them, and grabbed down there trying to push her back in 😭 after I calmed down I did a half of a push and she was out! Looking back now I don’t even remember the pain and I’m glad I went through all natural! But if I ever decide to have another baby, I definitely won’t be waiting. The slightest pain and I’m there 😅
