So on the 18th, (the last day of my last period) my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he did not finish in me. I also took an emergency contraceptive within 12 hours afterward. Today is now the 27th and I started bleeding yesterday. It started light and is now seeming to be as heavy as my period normally is. It's also bright red (like it normally is). I know that ecs can cause spotting but I don't know if this is my period since my last one was only just over a week ago. Any help is welcome :) thank you!
