Does my 2 year old eat too much sugar?

My son’s favorite food are fruits. He will literally eat any kind of fruit! Lately I’ve been wondering if because of it, he’s getting too much sugar in a day. I know there’s a demonization of sugar and we do need sugar throughout the day, but I noticed a lot of his foods have sugar.

For example, here’s a typical day of eating for him:

Breakfast: Cheerios (dry), fruit (usually a banana, pear, or cantaloupe)

Snack: cheese cubes, applesauce (no added sugar)

Lunch: chicken, vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, peas, or carrots), another fruit

Snack: crackers

Dinner: whatever we are having! I cook a variety, so it just depends on the day of the sugar content. I always serve a vegetable here. He usually asks for another fruit here too.

Dessert/snack: yes, he always asks for a little snack before bed lol. At this time I’ll usually let him have a cookie or something.
