I've had a miscarriage in the past at 6 weeks 4 days so when I got to that point at this pregnancy, I was pretty worried. I asked my doctor if I can have an ultrasound to see the heartbeat, just for ease of mind. When she did it, she said she saw the sac but no fetal pole yet and the gestational age she was getting was 6 weeks 1 day on one image and 6 weeks 2 days on another. We thought we saw a shimmer of something, possibly the heartbeat but she couldn't find it again. I know I shouldn't try to stress, its just worrisome that I'm nearly 7 weeks but she couldn't she or hear anything. My ultrasound doesn't look anything Iike any of the other 6 weeks ultrasounds I've seen and it frightens me, because there's the possibility that my baby stopped growing. Did anyone have a similar ultrasound to mine?
