i recently was diagnosed with pcos. i have always had very irregular periods and they just now found out why. i explained to my doctor i did not want birth control because i wanted to try and get pregnant. she gave me a prescription and explained to me it will induce ovulation and regular periods for a chance to get pregnant naturally. When i got home i did some personal research on this medication and found out it’s main purpose is to stop all ovulation and it is in fact birth control. now i don’t know if i can trust my doctor because i had told her i didn’t want birth control but she gave it to me anyways 😔 please help
