My ex has legal court ordered primary custody of our daughter, but she was arrested 4 months ago, and will remain in jail for several more months, if not longer. Our daughter has been living with me full time since, and I was curious on how I would go about claiming her as a dependent? Is this even possible? I’m just asking if anyone knows if this is possible, or has had a similar experience. Thank you.
