Induction questions
So my boyfriend works very far away from where we live and where the hospital I’m delivering at is. It would take him over 2 hours to get home. I am 27 weeks now and have an appointment next week and want to ask my doctor if I can schedule an induction during week 39. Has anyone ever done this without having a medical need to do so? And how far in advance do they let you schedule it if it’s allowed? My biggest fear is that he’s going to be at work and won’t get home quick enough to bring me and be there. The fact you can have one person in the room due to covid scares me even more because obv I don’t want to be alone and if he’s not here then I would have my mom come with me but I’d rather my boyfriend be there. So I’d rather have an appointment to be induced rather than going into labor while he’s working. Sorry this post is all over the place I’m just stressing out
