What “they always say” isn’t always true..
Let me just say that I’m a STM. With my first I had GD and she came at 36.5 weeks which could have been due to GD or me being overweight or who knows?? I was 0cm when my water broke and was then in labor for 22 hours.
THIS baby is now at 38 weeks and did not come earlier like they say the second typically does... I also have GD with this one and am a little larger than the last. That in itself doesn’t go with the norm...
ALSO anyone else tired of all the “they say” myths about pregnancy and when you’ll know labor is approaching? I was 1cm and 80% effaced a month ago and have had diarrhea, cramping, back pain, false labor, and spurts of energy to clean at least once a week since before Christmas.... I am now 3cm and 90% effaced with the same bull crap happening.... and yet never go into labor... UGH!!!!
Why is it that initial pregnancy symptoms are also the same as having a period as well as labor symptoms could be normal pregnancy symptoms minus the water breaking... it is SO FRUSTRATING!!!
End rant.
