Where to get a birth control prescription?
I’ve been on the pill for a few years, but my prescription came from a campus doctor at my university. I never had to really figure it out “in the real world.” After graduating, I am now on my last packet of the year-long prescriptions they gave out.
I really am uncomfortable — I don’t have a doctor otherwise and don’t know if I’m just supposed to... call the local hospital or something? There are also no Planned Parenthoods around here, nor anything else similar that I trust.
Ideally, no huge co-payment for an appointment that I just want a renewed prescription of the same pill. I don’t need any tests, I’m with one person, and I just want to essentially check off whatever list they have and be on my way. I know how expensive even getting in the door can be for normal things. I don’t know how it goes for bc.
