Hi everyone, I went to a dermatologist the other day and she initially wanted me to be on antibiotics... I refused to. I opted to take birth control instead. But thinking about it, maybe it’s too much.

I stopped taking mini pill in September 2020 from being on it since November 2018. My acne started popping up around November. They look hormonal since the same acne has been sitting on my face for months.

Should I go back on birth control or just wait until my face heals with topical treatments? Dermatologist prescribed me clindamycin.
