Late ovulation after Ovidrel??

I had my Ovidrel trigger shot on Monday and on Tuesday I already got a positive ovulation test so I was super excited. However last night I got really bad back pains (which I usually get when I ovulate) so I took another ovulation test this morning (4 days after the trigger shot) and it says I’m still ovulating. Has this happened to anyone else ?!?

You ovulation tests can be positive for up to 2 weeks after the trigger shot, just like how your hcg tests can be pos that long. It does not mean you are ovulating now.

The hcg makes ovulation tests positive, it’s not actually detecting lh.

Trigger shot will give you positive ovulation test so you can’t go off of those after trigger shot
