We tried purées and it didn’t work, she just wasn’t a huge fan. We went to BLW right away when she was 6 months and she loves it. She likes that she eats the same food as her big brother. Always so excited to eat next to him, and just super excited to eat period. 😂

Purées, yogurt and occasionally finger food (toast, bread)

I wanted to try BLW, husband and daycare weren’t on board. Ironically now my son won’t open his mouth for a spoon but tries to grab our food with his hands 😂. So I might win that battle. 
We are trying purées again this week to see how it goes— going to let him try with his hands and see what happens. Maybe try one of those mesh things he can suck on. We will likely end up at a combo of BLW and purée. (From the jump I said I will NOT purée meat.)
