I’m 18 and in college. I’ve had a yeast infection in the past, and in December I got really sick and my mom took me to the doctor. They didn’t tell me exactly what it was but said something about it was for down there and prescribed medicine. Before this happen I believe I had a UTI, because the smell/color of my urine and the somewhat hot/burn feeling. I still had that feeling when I went to the doctor and they checked my urine and got nothing. I want to go to the OBGYN on my own, but first I’m concerned about the overall cost. I don’t want to go and can’t afford and I don’t want my mom to know I’m going. I am sexually active, and I find that when I do have sex sometimes it hurts before it feels good, and is extremely sore after. I believe right now I have a yeast infection, because of the thick white discharge and the somewhat itch. Do y’all know any good products that’s affordable for hygiene down there? I’m in college and I can’t afford any very big brands that cost a lot, I use little to no soaps down there right now. I just do a good wash that doesn’t set off the itching. I really hope I can find some type of guidance.
