Went to the ER this morning for some dark red blood. I have maybe 3-4 drops on my pad but when I pee a little more than that comes out. No tissue in the blood. Also i apparently have BV, not sure if that can cause the bleeding but I've I've given antibiotics for that. But they did a pelvic exam and he said that my cervix is dilated (I'm not sure by how much) so he's guessing about an 80% chance that I'll miscarry. He was saying that some women's bodies are just different though so the dilated cervix could end up not being a factor.

I'm about 5-5.5 weeks currently, and hcg was over 3,000 according to ER.

My question is has anyone had a similar experience and everything ended up being okay? I realize at this point it's just a waiting game, like he said either the bleeding will stop and everything will be fine or the bleeding will get heavier and I'll miscarry. Just looking for any other experiences
