Hello! Has anyone gotten pregnant while still breastfeeding? Got my period last month but I am 6 days late this month. Is it a normal occurrence or pregnant?

It is normal for your cycles to be off while breastfeeding, but you can still get pregnant, so I would test, just to be sure.

Breastfeeding is a natural form of birth control. You may or may not have a period. You can bleed one month and not bleed the next.

It’s normal to be irregular. BF isn’t a BC or reason to have unprotected sex unless you’re fine with another kid. My period would show then not show for 2 months then show for 2 again ...

Very normal as your body regulates again. Can take a while for hormones to level out and your period to return to a "normal" pattern
