Looking for advice or words of encouragement. I’m 7 weeks and at yesterday’s first ultrasound they found nothing, no gestational sac in my uterus and nothing in my tubes. The reason the can’t rule out ectopic is because my HCG has gone from 4855 to 5100 over the last week.

I’ve been having brown spotting for the last week, nothing crazy, it was pretty light. Light aching in my lower abdomen began today and now I’m having some darker red bleeding. Again, not a lot...yet.

Since this is a possible ectopic, at what point should I go to the ER? My doctor of course mentioned if the pain gets worse or if there’s bright red blood. But I didn’t think to ask if she meant a lot of blood or if I just notice it’s turned bright red?

Anyone been through this before?
