If I am prescribed Xanax can I work at a dispensary?

I want to work at this dispensary. I don’t smoke weed but I’d be good at selling it, because I used to smoke weed and know a lot about it. but then I found out that you need your medical card to be allowed to work at a dispensary.

Then I found out that if I get my card, I can’t have my Xanax and Anti-depressants that’s prescribed to me.

I’m pretty dependent on that Xanax, it’s taken as prescribed but I went from having panic attacks everyday to not having them for months.

And I don’t even smoke weed so there’s no point in switching. That’s stupid.

You can sell alcohol and not drink alcohol. I can go work in a bar or a liquor store and never have a drop of it but no if I want to work at a dispensary I have to smoke weed.
