Does your vag look the same 6 weeks post?

I looked down there and it’s not at all the same. It’s all open! Its been 8 weeks since I gave birth. My stitches did rip apart but the ob told me my vag would heel on its own. I’m all healed up but my vag looks SO different. I can see things down there inside I don’t want to see! Help!!! Does it get better? Do I need cosmetic surgery?

You definitely do not need cosmetic surgery for your vagina. Give yourself some more time. Especially since you said your stitches tore open. You’re still healing!!

I looked at it around 8 weeks post partum and I was mortified. I’m now 10 months postpartum and it looks exactly how it did before the baby.

It takes 9 months to make the baby. It takes time for everything to go back

I’m 13 weeks postpartum and it still doesn’t quite look the same.
Much better, but not totally healed.
