Should I get genetic testing done for my baby?

I get it done BC I want to be prepared. If my baby does have something I want to research about it so I know how to better care for them when they are born.

I choose not to get it done because I don’t want to stress and worry that something may or may not happen to my child (I already have anxiety and overthink about most things). I would just take the issues as they come and do everything I can for my child. But everyone is different and feels differently, which is totally okay! I just know myself, and I don’t think it would be good for my mental health and pregnancy if I found out my child may be at risk for something.

I didn’t with any of my children. My
Insurance doesn’t cover it for one and it’s super expensive. For 2 it wouldn’t change anything for me and being low risk anyways we decided not to.

I personally didn't. My doctor didn't recommend it and he told me it usually is full of false positives. Also, there can be unwanted side effects so I just opted out with both of my pregnancies.

I always decline because I can't change the outcome.  Plus around her most of the time it's an extra personal cost unless you are already high risk.  If you want to possibly be prepared for anything you might have to deal with okay but it's not really necessary for most people.
