I might be the only weird one here but I’d leave bc that is still cheating no matter how long ago it was, that’ll make him think if he hides it from you long enough you won’t care for it as much.

I would calmly sit him down an talk about it. if there was signs that they were flirting in the text messages. Because the fact is he was emotionally cheating.the first starts out as emotional cheating then turns into physical cheating and the only way to make sure it doesn't happen again is to speak about it.
