Crazy Update and thankful ❤️
Wednesday I had my scheduled section and as in my previous post I mentioned there was some complications. Wednesday during the day I was feeling great but after they took my catheter out things started to go extremely down hill. My abdomen was in excruciating pain. I stopped being able to pass gas and pee so they figured I was full of air and had me stop eating and drinking and just walking around to try getting it flowing. By Friday morning I was passing gas but still in so much pain and 0 urine output. My incision felt great but my whole tummy and ribs just couldn’t take it. They ordered a CT and a catheter with a dye test where we learned I had a hole in my bladder and my tummy was filling with urine. They had daddy and baby discharged and were prepping to send me to a specialist two hours away for repair surgery. I was a mess and so upset I was having to leave my little guy. Luckily hearing my case the hospital I was being transferred to told me my husband and baby are more then welcome to stay with me and they would put me on the maternity ward to accommodate us. That instantly made me feel so much more at ease. Last night at 8pm they put me under and reopened my incision to clear out my tummy and repair my bladder. While this is not what we ever expected I am just so thankful my baby is ok and we are all doing good. I have to wear a catheter for 10 days which sucks but at least that awful pain is gone. I just can’t wait to go home to my other two kiddos and finally be able to relax and just enjoy time
