I’ve messaged her doctor but probably won’t get a response over the weekend 
I’ve been putting diaper rash cream and aquaphor on it and it’s not been helping

Are you breastfeeding by chance? I put breastmilk on just about anything out the norm on my son and it typically clears up.

My son had a similar issue but it was because I wasn’t drying under his neck enough after a bath. I had to lay him down to make sure I got all the moisture off but after a few days it cleared up.

It kind of looks like eczema maybe try eucerin or baby aveeno?

Tubby Todd all over ointment.  And if its extra dry I add a little young living lavender before the ointment.  Dry patches usually start clearing up in a few hours and are mostly gone in a few days.
