How has it been with grandparents maintaining a relationship with their grandchildren during covid?

Do you guys get complaints for not physically visiting?

Fiancé’s parents are the only ones complaining about not seeing our son in person. My side of the family is fine with doing video chat. We video chat his parents so they can at least see him. Now we have told them we aren’t visiting because of covid and once it’s safe we’ll visit. That turns into a huge mess of his mother complaining she wants to see her grandson. So today I came across a video of a baby with covid and showed it to my fiancé to get him to realize it’s for our son’s protection. His parents doesn’t think the virus is very serious 😒.

I wish my son could see all his family in person but things are getting super bad.

How do you guys handle these things? I feel like it just makes me look like a crazy mom.
