Sex after giving birth??

Question

When did you have sex after giving birth? 
I am 3 weeks postpartum and I stopped bleeding and didn’t tear￼. I feel 100% back to normal and just wondering

You absolutely need to wait at least 6 weeks when your doctor clears you.
Regardless if you stopped bleeding or feel fine, you have a dinner plate sized open wound inside you that is incredibly susceptible to infection and complications if you don’t wait.
I waited until 9 weeks postpartum.

6 weeks like my doctor told me to do. You need to wait until cleared. Doesn’t matter if you’ve stopped bleeding, your still at risk of infection and definitely pregnancy

After my doctor cleared me at 6 weeks. Year or no tear, the possibility of infection is greater until you’re healed. Doctors use the 6 week pp check up for this!

You should always wait until 6 weeks because you could get an infection. 
I wish I'd waited until 6 weeks weeks with my first. I did it at four weeks (had 2 tears and stitches) and while it didn't hurt, I ended up with 2 prolapses that my doctor said probably wasn't because of the early sex, but could have been a contributing factor. 
With my second and my third, I waited until the full six weeks.

You’re not healed on the inside yet. There’s still a giant tear in your womb where the placenta was... I would wait but at least be extremely sanitary. Plus you’re super fertile right now.

Go for it. You know your body the best. If you feel up to it then have sex. I had sex three weeks after delivery and I felt great! I went to my 6 week postpartum appointment told my dr and she checked me and said everything looks amazing. It’s recommended woman wait cuz your boost is healing but some woman heal faster than others, if you are feeling ready then DO IT!!  I highly recommend you remember to use protection or hopefully you have a forum of birth control because it is possible to get pregnant again ( my friend just had her baby on Halloween and is already prego again) anyways good luck

I did at 3 weeks 😬😬 when my doctors said I was ok down there I went for it and it felt fine. They didn’t tell me anything about the infections n stuff. Luckily nothing happened to me and I was great.
