I haven’t heard this.  I had GD last pregnancy and my daughter doesn’t have autism.

No hun it doesn’t but if not control ur baby will add the pounds on by taking the extra sugar which mean when baby is born they will check it’s sugar as it can drop quickly and they will need to watch baby then . I had 3 children two through gestational diabetes and they came out fine and health , my 4th pregnancy now at 39 and I have diabetes type 2 at very beginning so started watching my sugars straight away . As long as u keep to low carb diet and exercise you should be fine xx
