Are you still doing night feeds?

Question

Why is my baby still waking twice in the night for feedings and other parents are out there sleeping soundly thru the night?  How do I get on that train?  😂  I don't want to complain because my daughter wakes twice to be fed and goes right back to sleep but....why isn't she sleeping thru the entire night?  Will this start to happen?  Are people feeding their babies more to get them to sleep longer? Anyone's babies sleeping like 8hours thru??? Show me your ways!!

I would like to know also PLEASE! My baby boy eats around 8-9pm last feed and wakes up either at 12pm or 1am then again 4 or 5am to eat. Hasn’t slept through the night yet :(

My 4 month old is still up during night for a feeding. Sometimes 2, but usually 1. It’s actually normal at this age so I’ve been told and have read.

Once upon a time mine was doing 3 feeds a night...now he’s waking up 5 or 6 times...I literally pray for him to only wake up 2-3 times again 😭😭 it’s been 2 weeks of this nonsense

Once I began putting my daughter on her stomach to sleep, she started sleeping through the night. She has really bad reflux which prevents her from being able to lay on her back to sleep and a really strong/active startle reflex. We’ve been sleeping in a recliner since she was born so that she could nurse her reflux away (which meant she was latched pretty much all night). Once she was able to roll over, I began placing her on her stomach and haven’t had any issues since.

My baby is just like yours up 2x a night but goes right back to sleep.  It could be worse I guess but I am also wondering when I can get some more sleep !

I’m on a second and I would go in with the expectation that once a night will be normal the first year with bouts of no wakes. Growth spurts, teething, ear infections, and regressions always bring back that one night feed. But honestly it’s not that bad once they drink bottles faster after 6 months. Obviously there will be some different experiences, while most of my mom friends also say most of the first year is that one night wake with some bouts of full nights.

Every baby is different, my first woke every 2 hours until 6 months, my second woke every 3 hours for a year, this time shes slept 12 hours a night from 4 weeks but I learnt from things I did with the first 2 not to do with her and it has benefitted me xx

In my opinion, it’s all luck. However, as soon as we started putting our son to bed by 7:30 instead of 9-9:30, he started sleeping until 5am instead of 2-3am. No idea if the change helped or if it was coincidence. I’m fully anticipating a sleep regression or for our second to be a horrible sleeper because we’ve never been lucky people 😂
