How do they know you and do they know where you live or work? If they don’t know then you’re probably fine. But I think that’s really creepy. Repeating that they won’t hurt someone implies that they would somehow come into physical contact with you or isolate you which is sketchy. If you haven’t already, I’d tell some friends. I could be overreacting bc I have anxiety and overly active defense responses (like I’ve accidentally punched friends who tried to scare me). But that’s how I read into that.
