Do you let your dog lick the baby?

My dog tries to subtly lick my son. So I just allow hands and feet and then wipe him down with a baby wipe after. I stopped letting her lick my face a while ago. And she licked my husband’s wound (that was healing) on his knee a while back and he ended up with a serious infection because of it. So we limit her licks. She licks herself several times a day, so I don’t like that on mine or my son’s face.

I dont let them but I have little control over it. They just can't get enough of him. What's crazy is my older dog was never one to kiss, but he will kiss baby whenever he can but still doesnt give us kisses. My little dog will lick his hands after the baby eats. I tried being paranoid and stopping it but 🤷🏼‍♀️ here we are

I don’t necessarily let them but my one does does I do stop her though because he doesn’t like his face licked and even if he did I would still stop her because dog mouths are dirty 😂 sometimes she’s just too quick for me lol
