So let me start off by saying my periods use to be every 28-30 days. As of lately, after being off of birth control for a little over a year, my periods have been every 27-29 days with at least two or three cycles lasting about 39 days.

This time around, I was not due for AF until Feb 4th and just yesterday I started to have some light bleeding. This morning, this is what the bleeding looked like (from the front when I just stuck some tissue up there). Having some very slight cramps, nothing that is not tolerable.

According to my calendar, if this was a period, I had sex during my ovulation window and on the day my chances of conceiving were high. I am not sure this is a period since my cycles have recently been here and there, with my last one being 39 days long. But I was never early, always late in getting AF. Do you think this could be implantation spotting (I know that articles say it is rare) or just an early period?
