I have my 6 week follow up with my obgyn coming up after having baby #2 and was thinking about taking a non-hormonal birth control. Supposedly it wont affect milk production but wanted to see if anyone had any issues with it before starting, or if there was a pill they recommended.

I didn’t take anything after my June baby since I ebf and didn’t get my period till 8/9 months. We knew we wanted two baby close in age, but I’m not trying for 3 under 3 and don’t want to risk an accident baby. I thought about a iud but I’m not sure if I want something stuck up there.
