Can two brown eyed parents have a hazel- eyed child?

It depends on the genes you carry, everyone carries 2 genes, one from mom and one from dad. So you may have brown eyes but carry a brown and blue gene, or a brown and green gene, same with your partner. When your baby is conceived, 1 gene from each of you will go to the baby. Depending on which gene, would determine Color. If brown and blue match, baby would have brown eyes, because it’s dominant. 
It’s not always that simple but that’s the general idea. My husband has brown eyes and I have hazel eyes. Or first son was brown with dark drown eyes, which I what I expected. Our second son has blue eyes, he’s 16 months so they could still change but they are like crystal blue. My parents don’t have blue eyes and neither does my husband, but we both would need to carry a blue gene to have a blue eyed baby. Which means one of my parents passed a blue gene to me from their parent, but the other passed a non blue gene.

It also depends on generational DNA. If both brown eyed parents also have parents with brown eyes, the chances are very low for anything other than a brown eyed baby. My husband and I both have brown eyes, but we each have a parent with brown and a parent with blue eyes. So far, we’ve had 2 brown eyed children even though we are recessive brown.

I have blue eyes and SO has brown. I have 4 kids and 1 on the way. Two of my kids have brown eyes, 2 have hazel. I would love for this one to have blue eyes like me but most likely will end up brown also.

Eye colour genetics are quite complicated. The simplest way to put it is you have dominant (brown eye) genes and recessive (blue eye)  genes. 
A child will be passed an eye colour determining gene from each parent. A child with brown eyes received at least one brown eyed gene from one of their parents ( the other could be blue or brown gene). 
A child with blue eyes received a blue eyed gene from each of their parents. 
A parent or child with brown eyes can still have the blue eyed gene (which can later be passed on to their children) but a child with blue eyes has 2 blue eyed genes. 
When it comes to off colours like green, grey, hazel, etc it isn’t so much a colour gene as it is the pigment of the gene, the lack of melanin in the iris allows more light to scatter out, which make the eyes appear green. This is also how Changes in light make lighter eyes look like they are changing colours.

My brother and his wife both have brown eyes , their son has brown as well but their daughter has blue eyes . She’s still a baby so they might change but they are pretty blue . My dad has blue eyes and my mom has brown and another one of my brothers has hazel eyes . My husband and I are wondering what color our daughter will have . I have blue and my Husbands are green, his dad has blue eyes and his mom has green . I don’t know about his grandparents but my grandma ( moms mom ) has brown and her dad has blue . I can not remember what eye color my dads parents had as they passed a while ago .

It all depends in the genetics. My mom had brown and my dad had blue. I came out with Hazel. But my Grandfather had Hazel eyes, so I got his genes. As for my sister and brother, they both came out with brown. As for my fiance, he had the same scenario, mom had brown and dad had blue. Him and his sister got blue eyes and his younger brother came out with brown. Definitely wonder what ours will come out with (: but usually if you have the same eye color your child will more than likely have that color especially with brown. As brown is more dominant and blue is recessive.

It all depends on your genes (and the genes that your parents have), for example:
My husband has brown eyes, his mother has brown eyes (B) and his dad has blue. Which means he carries the recessive trait for blue eyes (b), which would make him Bb.
I have blue eyes, both of my parents have shades of blue eyes (b). So I am a bb.
Our baby has a 50/50 shot of blue or brown as she could be a Bb, Bb, bb, or bb.
This is an oversimplified version of course but gives a good insight. If both parents are brown eyed and their sets of parents are as well, the baby will have brown eyes.
