My daughter is 6 weeks old and has reflux.

It's a nightmare getting help. She's currently in hospital because the reflux has caused her to gain weight slowly. The gp is useless and refused to give us anything and sent us to a&e. The hospital are obbsessed with her eating and weight which yes it is a concern but I literally went up there for her reflux only for it to be ignored. They finally put her on infant gaviscon after I threatened to walk out with her unless they did something. She's been on it for a few days and I don't think its making a difference, she's still in hospital and staff have seen the way she is getting. My baby is so much pain and I'm powerless, no one is listening to me when I'm saying she's suffering. This has caused me to have a mental breakdown and swap whose staying with my partner.

I miss my happy little baby who loved to sleep and stare loving at me. Now I have a screaming suffering baby who I can't help.

I feel like the gaviscon is just cause more issues like constipation. I've been told to give it a week and then go back to the gp but I feel like they're just going to send me back to a&e.

Is there anything else I can do to help my baby, im feeding her sitting up, burping her slowly and keeping her upright for 30 mins after a feed, and the hospital have tilted her cot.

How do I get medical professionals to acknowledge she's in pain?
