I’ll leave it on to get my hair and body wet then rinse, but I don’t leave the water running when dealing with shampoo/conditioning—I’ve got super thick hair and that would just be wasting too much water for me 😂

It depends on when/how I'm washing my hair.
If I'm washing my hair in the shower of the course the water is gonna stay on.
I condition outside the shower though and leave the conditioner in over night or for a few hours and then I rinse.
If I'm washing my hair outside the shower then yes I turn the water off and use a bottle to rinse.
