Sleeping position??

Hi friends!!

When did you you stop sleeping on your tummy?

I am 10 weeks and I can tell there's something in my belly when I lay on my stomach but it's not uncomfortable.

Is there a rule to how many weeks we can do this for?

I started feeling uncomfortable on my belly at about 10 weeks. I have however read, I think I even read on article on glow about it, that you are fine sleeping on your belly until about 18-20 weeks. After that left side is best because of circulation and digestion. Back sleeping can put too much weight on arteries and decrease blood flow which can make you light headed when you get up. However, if you are waking up on your belly after falling asleep on your side don't worry about it. Just roll back onto your side.

I was a nightly belly sleeper until about 17-ish weeks, when it became uncomfortable. I miss it SO MUCH. I've had wicked hip pain since switching to sleeping on my sides, and honestly, it sucks. My OB said to sleep in whatever position is comfortable until the 3rd trimester, so I would still roll into the belly occasionally until about 24 weeks (I stopped when the belly got sore from the pressure).

I would like to know this answer to this too.  I tried to sleep on my belly the other night and it felt uncomfortable and like I was resting on something (that's the only way I could describe it)
