My husband doesn’t have any bio children. We’ve been ttc for 3 years. My daughter is almost 11 and she’s just petite. Here’s an example of her genes lol i am 5’5”, my sister is 5’4” our mother is 5’2” my grandma is probably the same, and my daughters father is probably around 5’7 or 5’8”!

So anyway the point of this post is because I got highly upset the other day at something my husband said. He was pretty much demanding that I hold my child back for another year of fifth grade. He said she “needs to grow into herself” and told her she will get bullied and beat up and made fun of! Right in front of her. I was livid. And he got mad at me for saying I didn’t “hear him out” I don’t see ANY reason to hold her back. She is super smart and kind, and very mature for her age. I told her it’s okay to be shorter than her friends — and she’s an excellent cheerleader! I don’t believe in holding kids back just for sports or because “they’re short”

But he got all upset at ME after demanding that I make her repeat a grade for nothing. And likely making her feel “stupid” or scared!
