My son was playing with our cat - giggling and having fun. Usually they do great together. Unfortunately, the cat swiped at him and scratched his eye. I feel like a terrible mother for not preventing this. Maybe I should have realize the cat had had enough. We took our son to a pediatric opthalmologist - who gave him a antibiotic prescription and told me to watch it carefully - and that it should heal. I just feel terrible! 😥😢 I'm so thankful that it wasn't worse.
