My husband hates my dad who notoriously makes rude or random comments that are inappropriate but not negatively meant like my husband takes them to be. My husband sees the comments as calculated and mean digs at him but I see it as my dad being socially awkward and just saying random sometimes inappropriate things

My dad has no idea he says things that rub my husband the wrong way and would most likely be confused and caught off guard if I bring it up to him but

My husband is now refusing to see or spend time with them including holidays...

What do I do?
