Yeast infection that won’t go away?!

For the last couple months I’ve gotten a few yeast infections due to a partners unhygienic and roughness during forplay that always resulted in horrible yeast infections! (Boo he is no longer in the picture for the sake of my cooch) anyways I got treated medically and I was using that Monistat cream that would work well apparently this last little years infection this guy gave me does not want to leave! I’m trying to avoid going to the doctor again so any advice to really kill of this stupid ich? Thanks ladies!
