My ex-husband of 8 years filed for divorce in October, it was finalized nov. we were together 10 years total. I always knew he was having an affair in my gut, and he has finally admitted this girl he was “friends” with is his girlfriend.

It’s still painful & we are not on cordial terms yet. I’ve had multiple people who know of our divorce ask if I’m dating and want to go out on a date with me. I have no desire for that, but it blows my mind that I just got divorced almost 3 months ago and people have been asking that. I guess everyone is different, but that seems mighty quick for having been married 8 yrs.

Divorcees, when did you start dating? Average wait time before starting again? I have no desire to at this point and don’t know when I will.
