Blood in spit after vomiting?

I have been extremely nauseous for the past week, and today I finally threw up. Just now, after the second time, I saw streaks of blood when spitting after throwing up. The same thing happened with my previous pregnancy, I was told it was due to the extreme force and the acidity of the vomit that had broken some vessels in my esophagus, and I was advised to go to the e.r. to check for dehydration and to check on the baby, but seeing as things are nowadays with Covid, I don't think that's a wise move. What do you guys think?
