I am going to FTM. What skin care products should use for new born. Any recommendations?

If your baby ever has eczema, I recommend this.
Newborns don’t need baby lotion. In fact, they don’t even need to be bathed like a toddler would, for example. They don’t really sweat or accumulate dirt, so a soft, damp cloth around the neck, armpit area and genital area would suffice for the first few months. You could also just apply a bit of shea butter if you feel their skin is too dry.

I used Mustela products for my son and really liked this cleansing oil and the cleansing water. I’m planning to use Pipette baby on this baby, though. Their products are EWG verified and they have Squalane to replenish and replicate your baby’s natural moisture. Right now I’m using the Pipette baby shampoo and wash as a body wash for myself, and as a shampoo for my 3yo and I absolutely love it!

We left as much vernix on baby’s skin as possible after birth and rubbed it in (it’s helps protect and transition them from living in water to air). We also delayed bathing until the cord stump fell off (over bathing can dry them out). Didn’t really use soap until baby was older, just bathed in warm water with a wash cloth. Moisturize with a little coconut or olive oil.
