Hi ebf mummies, I’m wondering how much and when to pump so that I have some extra bm to bottle feed baby when I go out without him? Without creating oversupply. I’m Currently 5weeks pp.

Pace feed if you are going to use bottles. It’s an absolute must for breastfeeding babies. The amounts are correct. Honestly it is MUCH easier to just nurse baby wherever you go. You WILL have to pump for those missed nursing sessions and will cause pain also.

Pump as often as you can, not only does it strengthen your supply but you'll also have extra milk on hand when you need to leave "suddenly" without the worries. No such things as over stocking on milk girly.

I would just pump at work and a little at night. So what I pumped at work would cover for while Im at work. It depends on old your baby is, and how much they drink. You can look up the normal amount her their age and then pump a little over that. It wont create an oversupply if you dont feed them while you are gone. It evens outs

I never pumped, I only used the milk I caught during letdown in my haaka or milk shells to create a small stash for times when I couldn’t breastfeed.
