Repeat C-Section....

I did not have a scheduled c-section with my first born, it just kind of happened that way. However, I will be having a scheduled c-section this time. Anyone who has had a repeat c-section, was the second different from the first? Better or worse? I am hoping it will be a better experience...since everything is kind of scheduled and I’m not laying there all day in labor. Is there anything the doctors or nurses let’s you by with the second time around as far as seeing the baby right after? Cutting the umbilical cord?

If anyone can give me a summary how their repeat c section went, I would greatly appreciate it since I was induced for labor the first time around and assume there will be less steps.
