How many cycles?!

Hey everyone! 
How many unsuccessful cycles did you do of Clomid or Letrozole did you do before your doctor changed something up?! And were you followed any closer then just getting bloodwork done on CD 21 ?!

I did 2 rounds of clomid 100 mg and 150 mg one with a trigger shot and the other one with out . Unfortunately I did not ovulate so my RE changed to Letrozole 10 mg and trigger shot for 5 days and this was a monitor cycle so when I was finish with the medication I went to see if my follicles where growing by that they did an ultrasound once they were mature I did the trigger and it released the follicles to ovulate . Then I went to get blood drawn and they confirm I did ovulate ... but i dint conceived so I’m on my second cycle now .

We changed protocols every cycle. My clomid cycle didn’t work so we switched to 5mg letrozole and ovridrel. When 5mg of letrozole only gave me a 17 mm follicle i requested 7.5mg with the Ovridrel. I was 100% paying out of pocket so i wanted the highest chances of a babe, even if twins became a risk.
