Hey all!

I recently went to the gynecologist because at 20, I have never had regular periods and had my most recent one in August (after having two that month).

My gynecologist believes I may have PCOS - my mom has it - or possibly another hormone imbalance.

Anyway, I’ve been prescribed progesterone pills for 10 days to induce a period. Once I stop taking it, my body will essentially go into withdrawal and have an menstrual cycle.

My doctor didn’t mention anything to me, however when I mentioned this to my mom she said my husband and I should be extra careful because I’m at a higher chance of getting pregnant while taking this medication. Is this true?
